He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glendon Johnson and Florence Johnson (Soczka); his wife Judith Johnson; his daughters, Mallory Johnson and Morgan Miemietz (Adam); his grandson Westin Miemietz; his siblings, Mark Johnson (Carol), Beth Draves (John) and Brian Johnson (Gretchen); his mother-in-law Patricia Van Zummeren; his brothers-in-law, Jeff Van Zummeren (Joni) and Jim Van Zummeren (Amy); and his father-in-law Joseph Van Zummeren. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Patrick's Church or Gundersen Medical Foundation.
