He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wenzel and Helen Eleanor Schubert (Widen); his wife Judith Ann Bates; and his brothers, Karl and Franz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Mishefske (Tom) of Milwaukee, WI and Elizabeth Wojczulis (Donald) of Milwaukee, WI; his grandchildren, Tom Schubert, Heather Schubert and Annika Wojczulis; and his sister Gretchen Van Ert (Will).
