She was predeceased by: her daughter Carolyn. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence; her daughter Gretchen; her sister Nancy Hudson; and her daughters, Kristine Nutter (Bill), Jeanne Foster (Bruce) and Claire Stanek (Stan). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in honor of Frances Heise to the Audubon Society or children's medical research.
