She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Peterson and Mabel Peterson (Thompson); her husband James Cantlon; her brother Edwin; her sister-in-law Janice Peterson; and her son Ronald Anderson.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Jan Anderson; her children, Luke Anderson (Kristi), Jaime Caffrey (Dan) and Loren Anderson (Kristy); her grandchildren, Ryan Anderson (Katie), Philip Anderson (Sarah), Heather Edwards and Stephanie Anderson; her daughter Donna Yourell (David); and her grandchildren, Dylan Yourell and Laura Enders (Todd). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Holmen Lutheran Church and Holmen Legion Auxiliary.
