She was predeceased by: her father Arnold Leif; her parents-in-law, Edward and Clara Odemoe; and her siblings, Ellie Jo, Kenneth and Jon Bakkestuen.
She is survived by: her mother Doris Elaine Bakkestuen (Volden) of Westby; her husband Richard E. "Odie" Odemoe; her sons, Frankie Oliver of Chadwick, Clayton Oliver of Necedah and Chad Oliver (Angela) of Westby; her grandchildren, Derek Paddock (Kayla), Cheyenne Oliver and Megan "Peanut" Oliver; her great grandchild Azalea Oliver; her siblings, Arvid Bakkestuen, Sr. of Westby, Mike Bakkestuen of Cazenovia, Gloria Brose (Alton) of Viroqua, Lola Bakkestuen of Westby, Randy Bakkestuen (Cindy) of Westby and Sheila Steele (Richard) of Antigo, Wis.; her sister-in-law Vicki Wooden of Brice Prairie; and her goddaughter Alexis Svee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Cancer Center at Mayo Clinic Health System or First Lutheran Church in Onalaska.
