He is survived by: his brother Art; his son Edward Jr. Koegel (Kelly); his granddaughter Alexandra Koegel of Fort Collins; his sister-in-law Betty Koegel; his nieces, Janet Hammer (Mark) and Tina Vesley (Ron); his nephew Art Koegel; and his close friends, Joe Dickson, Rose Albright, Doris Minor and Karla Schoenfield.
