He is survived by: his wife Kay Smith (Durden); his children, Dean Smith of Middleton, WI, Deb Gustafson (Curtis) of Hawthorn Woods, IL, Ed Smith (Ann) of Sun Prairie, WI and Julie Duffrin (Steven) of LaCrosse, WI.; his grandchildren, Kayla Wiest (Ben) of Hawthorn Woods, IL, Bethany Bowman (Andrew) of Onalaska, WI, James Duffrin of Winona, MN and Joe Duffrin of LaCrosse, WI; his great grandchildren, Madison and Peyton Wiest of Hawthorn Woods, IL.; and his siblings, Robert, Marilyn Osweiler of LaCrosse, WI and David.
