He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Nichols and Marion Nichols (Endries); and his brother Stephen Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Cory Nichols of Onalaska, WI and Carissa Nichols (Frank Scudieri) of Holmen, WI; his grandson Cason Stephen Smith-Nichols of Holmen; and his sisters, Cynthia Solberg (Paul) of Sparta, WI and Mary Nigbur (Michael) of Rochester, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
