She was predeceased by: her father Gerald "Jerry" Foellmi; and her brother-in-law Pat Murphy. She is survived by: her mother Beatrice Foellmi (Hutschenreuter) of French Island; her husband Lanny Powlek of Onalaska; her siblings, Deborah Benson of West Salem, Rebecca Murphy of La Crosse, Theresa Wenzel (Patrick) of La Crosse, Terry Foellmi (Joann) of West Salem and Todd Foellmi of French Island; her nieces and nephews, Nicholas Foellmi, Amelia Osornio, Craig Benson (Janelle), Tonya Benson and Ean; and her great-niece Lia Benson.
