She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norman Schaffner and Chloe Schaffner (Regelin); her husband Willis B. Fernholz; her daughters, Valerie Behrens (Joel), Wanda Thorson (Ken) and Kaye Squier (Mark); her grandchildren, Brandon Behrens (Jodi), Breanna Martin (Scott), Libby Thorson (Erik Kahl) and Benjamin Squier (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Emerson, Harper Behrens, Brayden, Sofia and Nolan Martin; her siblings, Bert Schaffner (Ruth), Luan Woychick (Al) and Bruce Schaffner (JoAnn); and her son Harlan "Harley" Fernholz. She was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
