He is survived by: his wife Heather; his children, Sean and Elin; his brother Steve Gilles (Stephanie); his nieces and nephews, Greg Gilles (Katie), Geoff Gilles and Gerry Gilles; his sister Cheryl Van Riper (Bryan); his nieces, Katie and Anna; his mother-in-law Donna Smokey; his brother-in-law Jeff Smokey; his daughter Zoey; his godmother Gloria; his cousins, Mark, Jerry, Kim, Barb, Jeanne and Elizabeth; and also, Griffin Gilles, Rita and Mary.
On his daughters' 11th birthday, Bill gave the greatest gift of organ and tissue donation to others in need.
