He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Pinker); his friend LeRoy Hougom; his children, Jay Holthaus (Renae), Jeff Holthaus (Melissa) and JoAnn Kranig (Rob); his great grandchild Hudson Hillestad; and his brother Lloyd Holthaus of La Crosse, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
