Al Smerud Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Al Smerud of Onalaska, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 28, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Smerud and Clara Smerud (Wild); his son Sam; his son-in-law Tom Infelise; his granddaughter-in-law April Salek; and his siblings, Sara, Edmund, Rose Mary, Margaretta, Evangeline, Rita, John, George, Donald and Clara Louise.
He is survived by: his wife Lorna Darling of Onalaska, WI; and his daughters, Trudy Infelise of Minneapolis, MN, Susan Salek (Carl) of Westby, WI and Jane Beseler (Frederick) of Houston, MN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
