He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gorschels and Lorraine Gorschels Sr. (Gauger); his parents-in-law, Gaylord and Fern Buskirk; his brother-in-law Tom Luther; and his nephew Gordy Luther.
He is survived by: his wife Shirlee Gorschels; his stepchildren, Fred Abler Jr. and Missy Ditter (Justin); his grandson Brett Engel; and his siblings, Betty Luther, Barbara Weidemann, Beverly Paulsen (Tom) and Robert "Bob" Gorschels. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kwiatkowski Funeral Home (425 Jefferson Ave, Omro, WI 54963). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
