She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Barthels and Herman Barthels; her husband Daniel Edward Sauer; and her brothers, Duaine Barthels and Dion Barthels.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Bunke (Bill) of Madison, Richard Sauer of Sheboygan and Dr. Lori Sauer of Athens, Ohio; her grandchildren, Maxim Barthels Bunke, Evan Alex Bunke and Kattarina Rose Bunke; and her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Barthels of Sheboygan Falls and Linda Saegmeister of Oshkosh.
