She was predeceased by: her parents, June Smietankski (Koepke) and Carl Smietankski; her husband Lawrence "Shorty" Anklam; her siblings, Rosie Gutche and Peter Smietanski; and her parents-in-law, Wesley and Ida Anklam (Bradley).
She is survived by: her children, Doreen Fineran (Michael), Mike Anklam (Jennifer) and Peggy Koerner (Jeff); her grandchildren, Molly Vaughan, Megan Vaughan-Zakarya, Katie Hatopp, Adam Vaughan, Christine Mendoza, Michelle Fineran, Kelly Steffan, Mitchell Anklam, Konnor Kuppernus, Max Koerner and Garret Koerner; her great grandchildren, Bryant, Arianna, Kailenah, Sundus, Abdurrahman, Abdullah, Maddox, Lea and Macaria; her siblings, Ruth Young, Jeannie Missall (Robert), Walt Smietanski and Edward Smietanski (Teckla); and her siblings-in-law, Audrey Hunt (Larry), Judy Anklam (Joe), Beverley Kumbier and Glenn Anklam (Barb). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
It was the one memory she would not allow Alzheimer's to take from her.
