He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley and Ida Anklam (Bradley); his brother William "Bill" Anklam; his parents-in-law, Carl and June Smietanski (Koepke); and his siblings-in-law, Rosie Gutchie, Roz Smietanski, Peter Smietanski, Russell Young, Donald Kumbier and Wally Gutchie.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Anklam; his children, Mike Anklam (Jennifer), Doreen Fineran (Mike) and Peggy Koerner (Jeff); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Molly, Megan, Katie, Adam, Max and Garret; his stepgrandson Konnor; his great grandchildren, Bryant, Arianna, Kailenah, Sundus and Abdurraman; his siblings, Audrey Hunt (Larry), Glenn Anklam (Barbara), Judy Anklam and Beverly Kumbier; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Young, Jeannie Missall (Robert), Walt Smietanski and Ed Smietanski (Teckla). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
