He is survived by: his wife Sandy Hitchcock; his daughter Paula Beulen (Ty); his grandchildren, Zander and Gunner; his daughter Lisa Hall (Les); his grandchildren, Sophie and Joshua; his children, Rebecca Hitchcock and Timothy Hitchcock (Amanda); his grandchildren, Ashlyn and Isabella; and his siblings, Jerry Hitchcock (Kathy), Mike Hitchcock (LexAnn) and Carol Connelly (Jim).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial at The Highground Veterans Memorial Park in Neillsville, Wisconsin will be established in his honor.
