She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Retzlaff and Stella Retzlaff (Puhlman); her husband Joseph Vowels Jr.; her brothers, Orin Retzlaff, Charles Retzlaff and Lyle Retzlaff; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Retzlaff, Arlene Chapin, Marion Retzlaff, Birdie Vowels, Melvin Vowels and Richard Vowels.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Vowels (Debra) of Omro and Denise Riegert (Steve) of Lake Mary, FL.; her grandchildren, Amanda (Bryant Long), Bradley Vowels (Hannah), Lindsey West (Tyler) of Omro, Meagan Tilley (Mike) and Gina Riegert of Orlando, FL; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Madeline, Owen and Norah; her siblings, Clair Retzlaff and Dorothy Lovell (Merlynn) of Omro; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Retzlaff, Margaret Retzlaff of Omro, Betty Vowels, Sharon Jones of Oshkosh and Roger Chapin of Oshkosh.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
