He is survived by: his wife Debbie Rupnow; his children, Rich Eckstein (Jessica), Amanda Freeman (Jason) and Kristen Hammes (Mark Devlin); his grandchildren, Evan Ross (Gabby), Nicole Kerzner (Nick), Riley Ross, Bella Freeman, Kyle Gates, Brianna Butler, Cody (Abby) and Cassidy Eckstein (Austin); his great grandchildren, Aubrie, Madyson, Carson, Waylon and Karlie; and his sisters, Sandra Rupnow (Dan Lux) and Kris Biel (Geno). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
