It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Channing of Ogema, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Channing and Gladys Channing (Lean); his daughter Allie Channing; and his brother Donald Channing. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette "Judy" Graham; his children, Michael Channing, Melissa Green (Dave), Glen Channing, Johnette Place (Erik), Lucinda Herrin (Marvin) and James Channing; his grandchildren, Ericka Robinson (Ty), Megan Dixon, Jessica Peterson, Zapharia Channing, Hunter Channing, Max Vasek, Nikki Herrin, Laeton Herrin, Hannah Herrin, Jackson Herrin, Madelyn Place and Cooper Place; his great grandchildren, Willow, Holden and Roman; and his brother Douglas Channing.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home, 761 South St, Prentice, WI 54556, limited to close friends and family due to COVID-19, on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 12 p. m. to 2 p. m. Masks and social distancing are encouraged.
