She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smerda and Hilder Smerda. She is survived by: her husband Leroy Steffen of Ogema; her children, Rebecca Parker (Whit) of North Prairie and Brent of Ogema; her grandchildren, Jacob, Ella and Leah; and her brothers, Robert Smerda (Susan) of Wausau and Ronald Smerda (Jeanne) of Mosinee. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
