He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burns and Myrtle Burns (Sharlow); his wife Judith Ann Houle; his son Donald; his grandchildren, Amber, Becky and Corey; and his great grandchild Christabella.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Powless (Chrissy), Bill Burns Sr. (Hiedi-Beth), Myron A Burns Jr., Christina Ante (Bob) and Etta Burns; his great great grandchild Araceli Xilenia Miranda-Galan; his siblings, Patty Lynn Salawater (Clifford), Wayne Burns (Karen), Gail Wilson and Aggie Deloney; his siblings-in-law, Bob Houle (Dale) and Bonnie Harvey (Marvin "Wrong Way"); his close friends, Terry Schemenauer, John Esposito and Tim Bratley; his aunt Darlene Kupczyk; and his pet Sabrina. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Bad River Community Center (72830 Elm St, New Odanah, WI 54861). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Myron requested green plants.
