He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Smart and Alice Smart (Crowe); his former spouse Jackie Smart (Scott); his sisters, Geraldine Wolfe (Smart) and Frances Wylie (Susan); his children, Christopher Smart, Frances Smart and Roseanne Scott; and his grandchildren, Adrianne, Kelly, Kevin and Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Susan J. Neveaux; his children, Dante Wolfe (Smart), Jennie Scott (David Plucinski), Mike Smart, Edward Smart (Yvette) and Numerous; his sister Barb Stone (Todd); and his granddaughters, Kaylee Smart and Madison Smart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
