He was predeceased by: his mother Susan J. Smart (Neveaux); his sister Rosanne; his cousin Charles; his nephews, Kevin and Mike; and his niece Adrienne.

He is survived by: his father Donald E. Smart; his daughters, Makenzie and Marie; his siblings, Dan, Michael, Edward and Jennie; and his close friends, Logan Wilson, Aleena Mae and Many. He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
