He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Whitebird (Reno Torgerson) of Odanah, WI and Ojibway Quay Whitebird (Mick Laviske) of Fairview, OR; his grandchildren, Rayonah Hill-Whitebird, Patience Bigboy, Gene "Mino" Maday Jr. and Francis Bigboy III; his siblings, Gladys Genschow (Robert), Mavis Kingbird (Vernon), Catherine Jackson (Dana), Brenda Whitefeather (Leland), William Francis Whitebird and Peter Augustin Whitebird; and his uncle Raymond Notbohn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
