He is survived by: his wife Lomae; his daughter Connie Bode (Victor); his grandchildren, Valin and Carolyn Andersen; his great grandchild Xander; his siblings, Mike Andersen (Wilhelmina) and Kris Hester (Scott); his siblings-in-law, Lynn Oakes, Lee Helms (Dawn), Lowell Helms (Kim), Louis Helms (Shelby), Leslie Helms, LaVern Helms (Bonnie) and Lyle Helms (Rachel); and his mother-in-law Lois Helms. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
