It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rufus R. Vorpahl (Oconto, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 21, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Vorpahl and Elizabeth Vorpahl (Runge); his wife Irene "Lolly"; and his siblings, Donald "Eddie", Ray Vorpahl, Ruth Vorpahl, Edna Kallies, Frieda Reed and Betty Kitzman.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne R. Vorpahl (Green Bay), Dawn Tietyen of Denmark and Barbara Gretzinger (Howard); his grandchildren, Carmen Plutchak (Jeff), Carrie Radtke (Doug), Anthony Tietyen (Jennifer), Erik Tietyen (Emily), Jacob (Tammy) and Jon Gretzinger; his great grandchildren, Marley McKenna (Ryan), Kayla, Dylan Unsinn (Sophie), Nicholas, Taylor Radtke, Charlotte and Merrick Tietyen; his great great grandchildren, Cooper O'Bright and Colt Unsinn; and his siblings, Elden Vorpahl (Rose) of Appleton and Sue Vigue of Mishicot. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
