He was predeceased by: his stepfather Ray Lentz; his grandparents, Lloyd, Beatrice Bartels, Marvin and Fern Aerts; his aunts and uncles, Elaine Bartels, Melvin (Audean Bartels), Jan (Neal Staedler), Homer Aerts, Allan Bartels and Pat (Joyce Stoegbauer); his cousins, Tyrelle Woodworth and Nancy Jo Bartels; and his pets, Reba and Narf.
He is survived by: his parents, Carol Lentz and James Aerts (Sandy); his brother Pat Aerts (Kate); his niece Emily Aerts; his nephew Joseph Aerts; his aunts and uncles, Butch Bartels, Joan, Tom Garrity, Judy and BoJack Heimke; his cousin Russ Bartels; his close friend Rose Wenzel; his friend Trudie Chico; and his pet Ginger.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to local animal shelter.
