She was predeceased by: her parents, August Marquardt and Irma Marquardt (Rusch); her husband Earl Schmit; and her daughter Jody Milquette. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Van Den (Gary), Diane Marohl, Jesse Schmit (Jeanne), Steven Schmit (Pam) and Michael Schmit (Pam). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gallagher Funeral Home & Cremation Service (217 Congress St, Oconto, WI 54153). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
