He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oliver William Wierdsma and Tena Potgeter Wierdsma; his children, Steven Wierdsma (Sandy), Kathy Koenigs (Tim) and David Wierdsma (Destina Ragano); his grandchildren, Jason Wierdsma (Jamie), Kristy White (John), Kelly Zimmerman (Gary), Elizabeth Mullarkey (Jack), Laura LaQua (Brian), Michael Koenigs, Jane Wierdsma (Mike Smith), Kevin Koenigs (Annie Carlson) and Oliver Wierdsma; and his wife Jane Swanton Wierdsma.
