He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Gartman and Lorraine Gartman (Whitman). He is survived by: his wife Ruta Kupsis Udris; his daughters, Jennifer Corgiat (Richard) of Waukesha, WI and Laurie Henning of Middleton, WI; and his grandchildren, Alexander Henning and Eliana Henning.
He spent a number of years playing tennis tournaments to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
