He is survived by: his wife Margaret V. Dahlquist; his daughters, Mary Jo Newburg (Tom) and Jill Dahlquist (Jim Schacht); his grandchildren, David Newburg (Nicole), Samantha Stone (Adam), Jean Dahlquist (Jesse Liebman) and Jennifer Dahlquist; his great grandchildren, Rhett Newburg and Molly Stone; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Brown and Sam Darby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
