He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Marie and Sarah Ann Hlavenka; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ann, Oliver Russel and Dexter Daniel Gaeu; his siblings, Christopher (Christine) and Sue Hlavenka; and his former wife Mary Frances Hlavenka.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Russel's name are welcome.
