It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita L. Zalewski of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Nuland and Verna Van Nuland (Berghuis); her brother Richard; and also Betty. She is survived by: her children, Tami and Stephen; her grandchildren, Sofia and Thomas; her husband Donald L. Zalewski; and her siblings, Joan Wetzel, RoseMary Salzman and James Van Nuland of Folsom, CA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
We also want to express our deepest gratitude to friends and family far and near for their cards, calls and prayers during Rita's ten-year battle with Alzheimer's. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, any memorial donations may be directed towards the Alzheimer's Association.
