He was predeceased by: his parents, Samson Schwartz and Viola Schwartz; and his brother Warren Schwartz. He is survived by: his pets, Louie and Riley; his wife Elizabeth Jones; his stepchildren, Mark Jones (Cheryl), Suzanne Breyer (Peter) and Wendy Massa (Michael); his stepgrandchild Tatiana; his siblings, Bonnie Pfeil (late Alvin) and Ronald "Sam" Schwartz (late Bette); his nieces, Sally Breitlow (John) and Christine Prusiner (Paul); and also, Dr. Charles Schwartz, Terry Schwartz (Terrylynn), Dana Schwartz (Debbie) and Christopher Schwartz (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
