He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Schnuck and Marion Schnuck; and his close friend Doris Gordon. He is survived by: his sons, Matt (Jennifer) and Chris (Colleen); his sister Mary; his nieces, Kelli (Scott), Jill (Brian) and Lana (Adam); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hailey and Brody.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Legion Hartland Post 294.
