He is survived by: his children, Sue Thomas (Mike), Carol Wacker (Phil), Patti Zingale (Tony), James Nestler (Brandon) and Stephen Nestler; and his grandchildren, Shawn Bucksa, Zach Thomas, Sarah Thomas (Jory), George Thomas, Ben Wacker and Tony Zingale.
