We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2024, at the age of 77, Michael Hyman Sylvester (Oconomowoc, Wisconsin), born in Baltimore, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Michael Hyman has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Sylvester and Elizabeth Sylvester; and his sister Maxine Betty Leon. He is survived by: his wife Barb Sylvester; and his children, Dawn Marie Wreath, Michael John Sylvester and Robert Allan Sylvester (Chanida "Pim").
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (120 Nashotah Rd, Nashotah, WI 53058).
Memorials are suggested to St. Vincent DePaul at St. Joan of Arc in Mike's honor.
