She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick "Fred" Schapsmeier; her child Andrew J. Smith; and her grandson Soren P. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Smith-Dill (Randy) and William Smith (Mary); her grandchildren, Amy Primley (Scott), Lynn Ayers, Jacob Smith, Sawyer Anderson (Daisy), Claire Anderson, Emma Anderson and Alexander Dill; and her sister Patricia Langenberg.
