He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Rather and Irene Rather; his son Todd Rather; his siblings, Kenneth Rather, Sally Dobberfuhl, Shirley Waltritsch, Sharon Longley and Wendy Sue Rather; his daughter-in-law Okie Rather; his siblings-in-law, Ramon Waltritsch and Roseann Rather; and his in-laws, Helen and Lloyd Polster.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Rather (Suzy); his children, Misty Neergaard (Mike), Roman and Susanne; his grandchildren, Maitland and Marcel Neergaard; his great grandchild Maya Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Polster, Dennis Dobberfuhl and Lynn Longley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren and many other family and friends.
In honor of Larry's memory, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Animal Welfare Society (H.A.W.S) and Zion Lutheran Church.
