With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Durkin of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 3, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Durkin and Anna Gladys Durkin. He is survived by: his wife Fran Brummitt Durkin; his children, Patricia O'Brien (John), Michael Durkin (Britt), Sara Gilbert (Glen), Charles Brummitt MD (Martha) and Ann Brummitt (Pamela Ellefson); his grandchildren, John O'Brien, Jr. (Theresa), Therese O'Brien, Timothy O'Brien (Ellen), Carmel Brennan (Dylan), John Durkin, Charles Durkin, Page Durkin, Jacob Allen, Katie Allen, Sam Brummitt (Christina), Charles Brummitt (Madeleine Daepp), Martha Weitekamp (Mikey), Nora Waters and Sara Waters; and his brother William Durkin (Josephine). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Lake Area Free Clinic, Oconomowoc, 856 B Armour Road, Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
