She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Braatz and Evelyn Braatz; her former husband Eugene Klauer; her husband Eugene "Shorty"; and her siblings, Phillip, John, Mildred, Delores and Katherine.

She is survived by: her daughter Mary Smith (Joseph); her grandson Andrew Smith (Rebecca); her great grandchild Brielle; and her brothers, Roy Braatz and Larry Braatz (Rose). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
