She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anna Novak and Albert Novak; her husband Roland Rugen (Jay); her daughters, Dawn Puetz (Michael, Sr.) of Oconomowoc and Diane DeSalvo (Dan) of Elmhurst, IL; her grandchildren, Loralee Joan Horn (Ryan) of Johnson City, TN, Michael Puetz, Jr. of Columbus, OH and Alina Miller (Dave) of Henderson, NV; her great grandchildren, Laila Horn and Brooke Miller; her friend Karen Bartel; and her brother Ivan Novak. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
