As Jean Helen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jean Helen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jean Helen leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Koerber Kresse; her husband Norman Keith Ruddock; and her father Arthur. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Jean Ruddock and Susan Helene Ruddock Hansen (John); her grandchildren, Kimberly Jean Carstens Cagle (Hoke) and Marcus Keith Carstens; her brothers, Donald and Jack; and her cousins, Clarence (Marilyn) and Janet Koerber.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation that would warm Jean's heart: to either the Jefferson County Humane Society or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
