He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Thompson and Susan Thompson; his wife Mary Ellen Thompson; and his siblings, Leroy Thompson (Mary Ann), Bobby Thompson (Lila), Fred Thompson and Laverne Hazard (Phil).
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Thompson Myers (Chad Myers); his grandson Christian Gazdecki; and his nieces and nephews, Janet Dennert (Bruce), Linda Feldman (David), David Thompson (Sue), Steve Thompson Don (Helen) and Steve Caveney. He is also survived by many other great nieces and great nephews, relatives, and the best friends.
