He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Gaugert and Erna Gaugert; his brother Robert Gaugert; and his siblings-in-law, George, Kathryn Meinel and Richard Stover.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his daughters, Susan Trofka (Richard), Beth Johnson (Jamey Seefeldt) and Polly Gaugert; his grandchildren, Adam, Alex, Trent, Claire Trofka, Jack, Kate Johnson and Kenneth Gaugert; his sister Marilyn Stover; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lu Bickle (LaVerne), Don Gottschalk (Valerie), Jim Gottschalk and Marion Holtz.
