He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerhard Radtke and Esther Radtke; his wife Betty Hulke; his children, Greg Radtke (Debi), Becky Breitrick (Jeff), Heidi Notbohm (Tom), Jennifer Czerwinski (Chris), Jonathan Radtke and Joel Radtke (Karen); and his sisters, Jeanne Schwartz (Joseph) and Laurel Van Gundy (Robert). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Gilbert's name may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Ashippun or Heritage Homes of Watertown.
