Frank Orlich Obituary
Frank Orlich passed away at the age of 92 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Frank was born in Wakefield, Michigan on June 15, 1931, to Rade and Antonia Orlich. Frank attended Wakefield schools, graduating in 1949. Upon graduating, Frank served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War from 1952-1954, when he was honorably discharged. Frank was a barber in the Milwaukee area for over 40 years.
In the 70's, Frank and his brothers Rick, Joe and Bobby opened a bar in Milwaukee, naming it The Balkan Lounge, where Frank and bother Rick's polka band would play on weekends. Over the 4th of July, the band would team up with musician brother Mike Orlich and good friend and accordion player Jimmy Budgick and entertain at their sister Mary's (and husband Vern's) Club 28 in Wakefield.
Frank was predeceased by brothers George, Mike, Rudy, Louis, and Rick, and sisters Sophie, Mary, and Angie. Frank is survived by his loving wife Virginia, two daughters, Sandy and Judy, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, along with brothers Joe and Bobby.
At Frank's request, private services will be held. Frank's final resting place will be in Weyauwega, Wisconsin.
