He was predeceased by: his wife Rose; his granddaughter Samantha; and his siblings-in-law, Cynthia, Joanne, Jerry and Charlie.
He is survived by: his children, David Hoisington, Jr. (Janelle Harvey), Diana McMullen (John), Andrew Hoisington (Tammy), Elizabeth Hoisington and Mary Hoisington; his grandchildren, Joseph (Julia), Jack, Chelsea (Denis), Jordyn (Alex), Parker (Jessica), James (Sarah), Andrew, Chris (Becca) and Austin; his great grandchildren, Myah, Stella, Remee, Alivia, Parker Jr., Azariah, Quinn, Riley, Hayden, Blake, Grace and Johnny; his siblings, Tom, Georgia, Henry and Robert (Connie); and his pet Bernadette. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many more family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lake Country Free Clinic or the Oconomowoc Food Pantry.
